What Does It All Mean?

Revenge for Mom
Cult of Cornix

Leaving the Doom Croaker's lab, the group travels down stairs and finds a ruined chapel with a single person praying at the altar.  The group confronts the man there who is revealed to be Corvo, the leader of the cult.  From out of nowhere, their god, Cornix appears and explains how he never ascended Corvo due to an issue several years ago when he thought he was following his god but it happened to be an imposter of some sort.  So while it was Corvo who killed her, it wasn't Cornix who told him to.  The god leaves a parting gift by ascending his follower creating a bird monster they had never seen.  The group beings to attack but soon realizes their attacks have little effect, until Aarya tears off one of it's wings.  The fight goes on until, Gart knocks it aside and stabs it in the throat.  Waking from his unconsciousness, Bing rejoices in the death of his mom's killer by creating a smaller set of wings from the creatures own.  The group finds what seems to be Corvo's room, and find a Raven Statue before all falling into a well deserved sleep

Getting A-head
Cult of Cornix

Bing sneaks his way into the torture room and manages to kill one of the hooded men through laughter and acid…mostly acid.  Gart however takes the more subtle approach, kicking in the door and slamming down his owlbear head onto the head of the other hooded man.  Magnolia follows up with a mace to the groin, dropping the other man.  This leaves the ravenfolk with the spear who begins to fight the group.  After things seem like they'd taken a turn for the worse, he runs into the other room and brings back with him the doom croaker who right off the bat, drops Thalia with necrotic energy.  Gart manages to dismember the warrior and kill him while Aarya transforms into a wolf and starts tearing at the croaker's neck.  Gart takes this opportunity to tear the his head off and throw it to Bing.  He and Thalia play with the head like a ball for a bit before she kicks the head onto a statue that she had accidentally taken the head off of.  The group moves into the next room and discovers the doom croaker's workshop.  In a nearby chest they find tons of papers with mysterious symbols on them but no one knows what they are.  Aarya pockets them and Thalia takes the papers in another unknown language that were on the desk.

Enter: Aarya
Cult of Cornix

After "narrowly" escaping the "trap" floor, Bing and the party make their way out of the room and down the hall.  Thalia suddenly hears breathing coming from down the other hallway and the group finds Aarya in a cage.  She, being captured by the cult, has her own business with them and decides to go with the group to settle this issue.  The come across what appears to be the dining room of the place and Bing walks in.  Sitting down next to one of the people, a cultist named Fenton, Bing informs him that 10 people are dead upstairs, essentially recounting their battle beforehand.  Fenton thinks it's a joke and Bing almost gets into a fight with a ravenfolk member.  The bard makes a song for him and leaves happily.  Bing eventually convices Fenton that Qara's followers came in and killed those 10 people.  Fenton takes Bing to go see Corvo and the party follows.  Upon reaching the next floor, Fenton doesn't know where to go next because he's kind of new.  This is when the party gets the jump on him.  Gart, in typical fashion, also kills a sleeping guard by kicking him straight into the ceiling.  The party moves forward and finds a room with more robes inside and seemingly miscellenious religious items.  They take what seems to be a special robe and mysterious green-hilted dagger with a serpentine blade.  As they attempted not to get lost and find out where they were going, they begin to hear their own voices coming through an ajacent hallway.  Upon investigation, they discover a ravenfolk locked in a jail cell.  The group learns that she had joined the cult willingly as some kind of elf.  She soon realized that it was a poor choice when she "ascended" and became a ravenfolk.  She was then jailed for not following the cult itself.  The party frees her and she leads them up to the torture chamber where she takes her leave.  Looking inside the group sees 2 people in executioners hoods, a larger ravenfolk, a vat of what seems to be some sort of acid and many torture tools and racks.

The Cult of Cornix

After waking from a poke to the head, Gart learns from Cecil of the location of his companions as well as the cult, in return for another favor down the line.  Gart finds the ruins and is ambushed by a lone guard who taunts him.  Gart returns the favor including a swift kick to the groin.  The guard, who becomes to scared to fight back, shows Gart how to get down below.  He makes his trek downwards into the darkness and sees the group of cultists.  Magnolia, disguised as them notices Gart and reveals herself to him.  As the cultists open the secret door moving forward, Gart attempts to follow only to fall in a heap on the floor, alerting everyone and the battle begins.  Thalia is suddenly hit with a surge of wild magic and the area everyone is in is covered in grease.  The fight turns ridiculous as everyone just begins to slip and slide all over the room.  Gart even throws Bing at those who have fallen and begins to knock them around on the floor.  Thalia attempts to take out one with a fire bolt but misses and sets the room ablaze.  Suddenly everything is on fire.  The other cultists are slain and Magnolia has a wash of relief as she knows that Eldath is still watching over her.  The group reopens the door and moves forward, disguising themselves as cultists with robes and masks found in a nearby room.  They discover another room filled with crows and see a hole leading up toward the surface and figure out they are pretty deep underground.  Moving onward, they find they bathroom and a door to another room.  In normal Bing/Gart fashion, Bing is thrown at the door to open it up.  He lands in the middle of the room and hears a small click as the floor begins to open up underneath him.

Bing's Totally a Dwarf
Bandits in Bredon

Thalia, the Dragonborn, introduces herself to the group and decides to help them take out the bandits.  Upon entering the castle, they find the kitchen and a dwarven woman who is just as surprised to see them as them her.  She throws a knife at Magnolia and Gart throws Bing who convinces her that he's her son.  The dwarf, Hiln, beileves Bing is her thought to be dead son, Reuben who she thought was lost along with her husband in the Dagnal mining explosion.  She tells the group all she knows and even feeds them and helps to find the keys to the boss, Tarben's room.  Finding the keys in the dungeon, they also find a body which looks suspiciously like Earl but isn't and Bing puts coppers on his eyes.  They return upstairs to find that all bandits in the place have left except for whoever is behind the big metal door.  Bing disguises himself as Hiln and goes inside to inform Tarben about food.  Gart bursts in and Bing quickly tells Tarben that this is his son and a cook.  With the help of Magnolia, it works and Bing begins the fight by surprising the orc in the room.  Tarben throws out a badger and boar from a pouch to assist in his fight.  Gart eventually grabs ahold of him and Thalia burns him with her breath.  Surprisingly enough, Zane wasn't seen during the confrontation because he was accidentally hit with the door when Gart charged in.

Bandits in Bredon

Having infiltrated the group of bandits who've been harassing Bredon, Bing is introduced to the group as Jack, the new recruit.  After accidentally sounding like an undercover cop, he leads a few of them past the corner where the party awaits.  All bandits but one are killed and a long tunnel is discovered under the cave with a large metal door blocking the way forward.  As they are about to leave, a man appears through the opening of the cave wearing a "Hello, my name is Jack" nametag.  Thinking on his feet, Gart throws the head of the largest bandit at him, knocking him unconscious.  Bing leaves two copper on his eyes and the group leaves the woods.  They make their way back to town and spot smoke rising from the outpost.  Running back they discover it was the bar that had been burned to the ground and Zane breaks down.  Discovering it was the bandits through a message written in Orcish, the party follows footprints heading off east.  Zane, having potentially lost his uncle and only family, changes gears completely, no longer upbeat and optimistic but angry and cold.  As they discover the ruined castle that the bandits seem to be using as a hideout, they find a Dragonborn, (or furry as Magnolia calls it) standing in front of the castle over two smoldering piles of ash.

Thrush Woods
Bandits in Bredon

Moving through the woods, something glitters from a pile of wood and Gart goes to investigate.  Upon getting stuck to the pile, an ettercap falls from the canopy and latches itself to Gart.  Bing yells at it calling it an "ugly pear" and is even thrown at it, many feet up a tree.  It is killed when Gart tears it apart.  Through sheer luck, the group stumbles upon the location of the bandit hideout when Zane leans against a rock covered by an illusion.  Thinking the group could have had something to do with the murder of his mother, Bing dresses like a clown with perfect makeup and everything and sits among the bandits all of which are confused about a small clown appearing amongst them.  When it looks like he's about to be killed, he convinces them he's a new recruit.

The Meetup
Prologue

After running away for several days from home, Magnolia is attacked by a wolf and saved by Gart.  Gart manages to scare her off by accidentally slinging the wolf carcass at her.  She also ends up hitting him with sacred flame.  Hearing the commotion, Bing arrives and meets Gart and the two go and find Magnolia on the ground after she hit a tree both physically and magically.  They take her with them and swap stories of why they're there.  The group eventually ends up at the Bredon Outpost and makes there way inside except Magnolia who stays outside.  They see a group harassing the bartender and his nephew before leaving.  It turns out the nephew, Zane had been messing with them due to their harassment of the town.  His uncle, Earl had been very against it at the risk of Zane being killed or worse.  Earl finally notices the group and invites them in and explains the current issues.  The two agree to help out and are overheard by Zane who wants to go with them.  Of course his uncle says no but the group tries to take him with them and are promptly asked to leave.  At this time Magnolia enters the bar and begins to try to talk to Zane, starting with dead mother talk.  A little put off by the suddenness of the conversation, Zane goes to clean another table.  Feeling very offended at this unintended rudeness, Magnolia full on decks the kid sending him flying across the bar.  Silence fills the bar until a man in the back yells out, "BAR FIGHT!!!" and chaos ensues.  Hearing the noise, Gart and Bing reenter the tavern to see the chaos and join right in.  Gart throws Bing, who hits several patrons before being caught by Earl and is used to chase people out of the bar.  Gart tackles Earl, smashing through 3 walls and hits a tree.  Seeing the newfound opportunity, Zane grabs his stuff, and Gart grabs all in the party and bolts for the woods where the bandits are said to be located.  The group enters the woods in search of the bandit hideout.  They soon are cornered by 2 spiders, who are killed rather easily.
